The Web is a relatively new medium, and as with all mediums, it has had its share of growing pains. From browser bugs to cut-rate sites designed in third-world countries, you name it, it’s happened on the Web. Combine this with the fact that what was cutting edge yesterday is obsolete today and it’s easy to see why many people simply do not grasp the power of the Web.

It’s important to remember though, that the World Wide Web is the quintessential medium of the 21st century. Companies that take full advantage of this dynamic medium are at the forefront of business. But not all companies do, and not all Websites are created equally. There was a time when simply having a Website was good enough. Thankfully, that time has passed; no longer will a company with a poorly designed site survive. Having a bad website today is worse than no website at all.

I have spent countless hours studying the craft of Web design starting with the day I brought home my first computer.
